Marion Aufseesser
Born a Swiss National and raised in South Africa Marion moved to Zürich in her early teens. She then went on to obtain her first degree in education, and later a Masters Degree in Cognitive Psychology, and a Diploma of Advanced Studies/MBA specialized in Entrepreneurship from the University of Geneva. Following her studies, she worked for several years at the Cantonal University Hospital of Geneva in the Diabetic Unit affiliated to the WHO.
For over 15 years Marion was a consultant with a major career transition firm in Geneva covering the Suisse Romande and parts of the German speaking areas of Switzerland. She facilitated large group restructuring programs as well as individual programs and also post career workshops.
During her expatriation in Hong Kong she coached numerous expatriates and their families on career and transition issues.
For a number of years Marion was a faculty member of Webster University, Geneva where she taught the Career and Lifestyle graduate course. Since 2007 she has been delivering workshops on Stress Prevention and Psychosocial Risk to companies in France and Switzerland.
A member of the Career Women’s Forum, the Swiss Federation of Psychologists, the Swiss Association of Cognitive Psychotherapy and the Swiss Society for Coaching Psychology, Marion is also currently engaged in writing a book on Career Transition. She joins PDP after many years as an independent consultant in the Geneva area.
